Getting the page order right

The merged file's sequence is set entirely by the order of the files you upload, so arrange the list before converting rather than after. If one of your source PDFs has its own pages in the wrong order, fix that first: split it into single pages with Split PDF, then merge everything — including those loose pages — in the sequence you need.

After merging

A combined document is often the point where you'll want to add sequential page numbers across the whole thing (use Add Page Numbers on the merged file, not the parts) or bring the size down if the sources were image-heavy (Compress PDF). Doing these on the finished merge means the numbering and compression reflect the final document.

Privacy and limits
