Presentations full of high-resolution images, embedded video thumbnails, or large graphics can quickly become too large to email. ConvertBrio is building a Compress PowerPoint tool that will reduce a presentation's file size without altering its slide content.
What This Tool Will Do
Compress PowerPoint will optimize the images and embedded media inside a .ppt or .pptx file to shrink overall file size, while keeping slide layout, text, and design intact.
Why It's Not Live Yet
Like Excel and PowerPoint conversion, this feature depends on presentation-file tooling that ConvertBrio is currently developing as part of its broader Office-document support.
What You Can Do Right Now
Until this tool launches, converting your presentation to PDF (once PowerPoint to PDF is available) and compressing the resulting file with Compress PDF will offer a similar reduction in shareable file size.
