ConvertBrio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides online tools for converting, compressing, and enhancing files. ConvertBrio is independently operated by Subham Sharma, based in India. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to convertbrio.com and every tool on it.

2. Information we collect
We collect:
- Account information you provide, such as your name and email address.
- Contact-form submissions, including the message and reply-to email you give us.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system, collected automatically to operate the service securely and diagnose problems.
- Usage data, such as which tools and pages you visit and how you interact with them.
- Security logs used to detect abuse, rate-limit requests, and keep the service reliable.
3. Files you upload
Files you upload are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection, stored encrypted at rest via our storage provider (Supabase) while processing, and processed automatically to perform the conversion, compression, or enhancement you requested. We do not manually review, share, or use the contents of your files for any purpose other than delivering the result you requested — including for AI tools such as the image enhancer, upscaler, and background remover, where uploaded files are used only to produce your output and are never used to train or improve any model. Uploaded and converted files are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing, whether or not you download the result, via a daily automated cleanup job.
4. How we use information
We use collected information to operate and improve ConvertBrio, provide customer support, monitor for abuse and security incidents, understand aggregate product usage, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for the following purposes:
- Essential — keeping you signed in and remembering basic preferences like theme.
- Analytics — understanding aggregate usage via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, so we know which tools are useful and where the product breaks.
- Advertising — if and when we display advertisements (for example through Google AdSense), Google and other third-party vendors use cookies, including the Google advertising cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve you personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.
Where required (including for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before setting non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, using the consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent you from using ConvertBrio’s tools.
6. Third-party services we use
ConvertBrio relies on the following service providers, each of which only receives the information necessary to perform its function:
- Vercel — hosts the site and runs file conversions on its servers (conversions do not happen locally in your browser).
- Supabase — stores accounts and temporarily stores uploaded/converted files until automatic deletion.
- Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — aggregate usage analytics, subject to your cookie consent choice.
- Microsoft Clarity — aggregate usage analytics and session insights, subject to your cookie consent choice.
- Google AdSense — advertising, once enabled on the site, subject to your cookie consent choice.
We do not sell or share this information with any provider beyond what is needed for it to perform the listed function.
7. Legal basis and your rights (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information on the basis of: performing our contract with you (providing the tools you use), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the service), and your consent (analytics and advertising cookies). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@convertbrio.com.
8. US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or others), you may have the right to know, access, delete, or correct your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or “sharing” (including for cross-context behavioral advertising, which some states treat advertising cookies as). We do not sell personal information. If we display advertising through Google AdSense, this may be considered “sharing” under some state laws; you can opt out at any time using the cookie preference link in the footer, the Google Ads Settings page, or by sending a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, which we honor as an opt-out request. 9. International data transfers
ConvertBrio is operated from India and uses service providers (including Vercel and Supabase) that may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on those providers’ contractual and technical safeguards to protect it consistently with this policy.
10. Data retention
Uploaded and converted files are deleted within 24 hours of processing. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward to comply with legal or security obligations. Security and usage logs are retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
11. Children’s privacy
ConvertBrio is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@convertbrio.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
