Turning a spreadsheet into a fixed, shareable PDF is one of the most requested document conversions, and ConvertBrio is building support for it now. Once live, Excel to PDF will let you convert .xls and .xlsx spreadsheets into print-ready PDF documents directly in your browser, with no Excel installation required on the receiving end.

What This Tool Will Do

Excel to PDF will take your spreadsheet — formulas, formatting, and all — and render it as a fixed-layout PDF that looks the same no matter what device or software opens it. That makes it easy to share financial reports, invoices, and data tables with people who don't have Excel installed, or to lock in a snapshot of a spreadsheet before it changes further.

Why It's Not Live Yet

Excel and PowerPoint conversion require a different rendering pipeline than the Word ↔ PDF/JPG/PNG conversions ConvertBrio currently supports, since spreadsheets and slide decks have fundamentally different layout logic than word processing documents. That pipeline is in active development.

What's Available Right Now

While Excel to PDF is being built, ConvertBrio's Word to PDF, PDF to Word, Word to JPG, and Word to PNG tools are all fully functional today for document-based conversions. Check ConvertBrio's tools page periodically for updates as spreadsheet support rolls out.
